Mandel Nallo hits Carrington Banks with a VICIOUS knee to the face at Bellator 207 (Video)

It is known that MMA is a brutal sport, and those who compete in it are some of the toughest individuals out there. Case in point: the match between Mandel Nallo and Carrington Banks at Bellator 207.

The bout between both Banks (7-2) and Nallo (7-0) was fairly even heading into the second round. The groundwork was key as both were were looking to crank in huge submission moves, while also displaying some power. In the end, it was Nallo’s had the advantage in the power department. With 57 seconds into round two, Nallo dug deep and blasted Banks with a high knee.

The end result: pain and a win by Nallo.

Banks was able to stand up and exit the cage under his own power, showing his toughness as a fighter and human being.

What a way to open up Bellator 207, highlighted by the main event featuring Matt Mitrione v. Ryan Bader in the semifinals of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix.
