Columns Monday Morning Mancave: 11/16/2015 Edition by Jason Cordner November 16, 2015 Welcome to the latest installment of the Monday Morning Man Cave. After an incredible weekend in sports, this week ahead holds no punches back. Between Monday Night Football to Survivor Series, this week lineup is loaded with more kicks then a Holm vs Rousey fight.Sit back , relax and lets take a look at this week’s lineup , in sports and pop culture . Monday Night Football – Houston Texans vs Cincinnati Bengals :The Bengals sit at a franchise-best 8-0 start and with remarkable health. Houston is quite the opposite at 3-5 with a laundry list of an injury report. Still, these Texans look dangerous because they’re still alive in the playoff hunt thanks to residing in what may be one of the worst divisions in history, the AFC South. The Bengals will look to continue to stay undefeated and to keep pace with the Patriots for AFC supremacy . Tuesday College Basketball #2 Kentucky vs #5 Duke: The college basketball season really begins with the annual 24-hour hoops marathon that ends with the Champions Classic, which features the Kentucky Wildcats taking on the Duke Blue Devils. Both teams have championship aspirations. When these two teams play each other, it’s always must see TV. This match up will be the second of two games in the fifth annual State Farm Champions Classic from the United Center in Chicago with the second being Michigan State vs. Kansas. The four teams face off as part of the 24-hour marathon of college basketball on the ESPN network. Thursday Night Football – Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars : With the Colts under performing , this division is wide open. The Jaguars can claim a share of first place with a win against the Titans on Thursday Night. Bortles has been the most consistent QB in the AFC South all season. Friday – Netflix- Marvel’s Jessica Jones : Netflix and Marvel , team up for another amazing series called Jessica Jones. Jessica settles in New York City and opens her own detective agency, called Alias Investigations, which seems to be called into cases involving people who have special abilities. Suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, Jessica wants to do good, but her primary interest isn’t in saving the world, it’s saving her apartment and getting through each day. With Adult language and a very dark tone , this series isn’t for kids. Expect a lot of cameo appearances in this 14 episode season. Start your binging on Friday Saturday College Football #13 Michigan State vs #3 Ohio State : Finally ,we are going to see Ohio State Buckeyes take on real competition. The third-ranked Buckeyes (10-0) have breezed through their schedule despite looking less than stellar against over matched teams, but the slate will be much tougher as they move toward another berth in the College Football Playoff.Standing in their way this week is No. 13 Michigan State (9-1), who’s looking for revenge from last year’s 49-37 loss to Ohio State. ESPN’s College GameDay crew, will be in attendance and the selection committee will be watching closely this Saturday. Sunday NFL Week 11 Key Games : Week 11 is here and where rapidly approaching the 4th quarter of the NFL season. Some key games to look at are : Green Bay vs Minnesota: Winner will be in first place in the NFC North. Denver vs Chicago : The wheels are falling off fast for Denver. Chicago quietly are still in the playoff hunt. Cincinnati vs Arizona : Could be a possible Superbowl preview . Sunday – WWE Survivor Series : On Sunday November 22, WWE Survivor Series 2015 will take place .This will be the 29th installment in what’s been known as one of WWE’s “Big Four” PPV shows. This year’s show is being built as a celebration of the Undertaker’s 25 year anniversary in the company. On November 22, 1990, Survivor Series featured the very first on-air appearance of the Undertaker as a mystery partner for Ted Dibiase’s Million Dollar Team. At Survior Series ,Undertaker and Kane will face two members of the Wyatt Family. Seth Rollins ,was suppose to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship , agaist Roman Reigns. Unfortunately, Rollins suffered a torn ACL injury and now will be sidelined until Summerslam. Instead, WWE will hold a tournament to determine who the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be. Look for Reigns vs Ambrose final. I see a Heel turn coming from Reigns as well as him being crowned the new Champ. Other note worthy matches include: Charlotte vs Paige for the Divas Championship. New Day vs The USOS for the WWE Tag Team Championship Post Views: 1,922 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Jason Cordner Latest posts by Jason Cordner (see all) Lebron James Leaves Coca-Cola To Sign With Pepsi - March 22, 2021 WNBA Rolling Out Red Carpet For Upcoming 25th Anniversary Season - March 16, 2021 Nike Partners with National Urban League to Promote Employment and Home Ownership for the Black Community - March 15, 2021 Rob Gronkowski Gets In On NFT Collection Movement, Becomes First Athlete To Do So - March 10, 2021 Related Topicscolumn Click to comment You must be logged in to post a comment Login Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
