Bader v. ‘King Mo’ – Bellator 180 (Bellator Twitter) Bellator MMA’s road to Madison Square Garden continues to gain momentum. Ryan Bader v. ‘King Mo’ is official for Bellator 180. The promotion has worked extremely hard on becoming major competition to the UFC this year. They announced their second ever PPV will be at Madison Square Garden. The promotion also has some big fights on the card, one being Chael Sonnen v. Wanderlei Silva. They just added more fire power to this event in New York City. Ryan Bader will make his Bellator debut at the event. The announcement was made after Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal beat Quinton Jackson last night at Bellator 175. It is assumed the fight will be under the light heavyweight division. ‘King Mo’ (21-6, 1 NC) seems ready for the opportunity, even after just finishing off an opponent like Jackson. Bader (22-5) signed with Bellator MMA after leaving the UFC. A win could be huge for him and Bellator, as his signing could help the ever-growing company. In any organization, Bader v. ‘King Mo’ is something anyone can get behind. Fists will be flying! Even though this is a huge bout, Bader v. ‘King Mo’ won’t get special treatment. Bellator 180 is the Spike TV card underneath the Bellator NYC PPV. While the fight won’t be on PPV, it will still most likely be viewed by millions. The company is making sure the entire event will be something to remember. It will be a special night in New York City. Bellator 180 will be on June 24.
