Pro Wrestling The Rock Announces He Will Appear at WrestleMania 32 by Daniel Yanofsky December 29, 2015 Dwayne Johnson has a lot going for him lately. His hit HBO show Ballers was announced for a second season, and his Central Intelligence movie will come out Summer of 2016. He was also casted as Black Adam in DC’s Shazam! movie. More importantly, he became a dad. However, none of that matters right now. Because, FINALLY… The Rock has come back to… WrestleMania? It appears to be the case that The Great One will make an appearance at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas this coming April. As announced via an Instagram post yesterday, The Rock will be looking to make history. https://longshotproductions.tv/inthezone/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/12452553_957820420958909_1112742965_n.mp4 therock IT’S OFFICIAL: People’s Champ is coming home to do 3 things with THE PEOPLE: Set an ALL-TIME attendance record, ELECTRIFY Dallas like never before & make all time #WRESTLEMANIA history. And we have FUN. Ok that’s four things but you know what the hell The Rock’s sayin’.. . THANK YOU #WWEUniverse! It’s always an honor coming home and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. #PeoplesChamp4L #MakingElectrifyingHistory #SmackethLaidDownOnThyCandyAsses httpss://twitter.com/TheRock/status/681619875123576832 WrestleMania will be in the spacious AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. With over 100,000 people expected to be in attendance at this year’s event, it looks like WrestleMania is going to be the largest event in WWE history. WWE is looking to take advantage of that with the presence of The Rock, among other legends. It is unknown if The Rock will actually wrestle or just show up in a non-wrestling role. His last match was when he appeared at WrestleMania 29 in 2013 against John Cena. During that match, his abdominal and adductor tendons tore from his pelvis, requiring surgery. Since then he has made sporadic appearances, most recently at this year’s WrestleMania, where he teamed up with Ronda Rousey to confront The Authority. Since then, there were rumors that he would face Triple H, or be involved in a tag team match with Rousey. Both matches seem difficult due to Rock’s filming schedule; people would be worried about his health. Although extremely fit, at 43 years old and one of the hottest film stars today, The Rock would have to work something out with the company. It is interesting to see the news coming out a long time away from WrestleMania, but generating any type of buzz will help create revenue and ratings for WWE. Dallas will be buzzing with excitement, and will be looking to smell what The Rock is cookin. “The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment” will look to leave his mark in some way or another. We will just have to wait and see. httpss://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62MkIQM5UUc Post Views: 2,133 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc.
