New Jersey’s mixed martial artist, Sadee “Sadistic” Monseratte Williams has signed with Bellator MMA. Her first match up? The ‘Skrap Pack’ Queen, Keri-Ann Melendez.

The two flyweights will face off on the world largest stage, Madison Square Garden at Bellator 180 on June 24.

MMAFighting.com confirmed the news Tuesday.

Williams (0-1 MMA) made her professional debut at Ring of Combat 55 in June. She lost via rear naked choke in the first round. The 29-year-old went professional after only one fight as an amateur, which resulted in a draw.

This will be Melendez’s (1-0 MMA) second bout with Bellator. She made her very impressive professional MMA debut at Bellator 165 in November. The wife of UFC lightweight Gilbert Melendez won her debut via KO just 47 seconds into the first round.

Bellator 180/Bellator NYC

The three-round 125-pound bout will be featured on the undercard to the second ever Bellator pay-per-view, Bellator NYC. The headliner for the undercard will feature the rematch of UFC vets Ryan Bader vs. Phil Davis. Bader was set to face King Mo, until he was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Another local lady, more specifically our “First Lady of Boxing”, has also been hinting to get on this card. Could you imagine Heather “The Heat” Hardy vs. Melendez?

When I first saw that, the first thought I had was to match her up with Melendez for a beautiful stand up war. According to Melendez’s social media though, this seems to have already been in place.

Let’s keep that in mind Bellator for your next trip to NYC though. *winkwinknudgenudge*
