WINNER$ – NFL WEEK 17

Happy New Years everyone! I hope 2017 brings you peace, prosperity and Winner$$$!!!

Rough week 16 for us, especially the Bills game. Buffalo comes all the way back to take the lead late in the 4th quarter on a 4th and goal TD catch by former Dolphin Charles Clay. Gotta tip your cap to Andrew Franks for hitting a 55-yard FG to send the game into overtime. Miami then stiffened in the red zone against Buffalo and Dan Carpenter pulled a Scott Norwood. One long run by Jay Ajaji later and not only did our 100k suicide dreams get dashed but we also had a losing week. Oh well, that’s gambling. Onto week 17, man does the season fly by.

Week 16 Recap:

Patriots -16 (Win)
Bills -3 (Loss)
Titans -5 (Loss)

Week 16 Record: 1-2
2016 Season Record: 13-16

Week 16 NFL WINNER$:

REDSKINS -7 over Giants
The Redskins need this game badly. The Giants don’t. Motivation is a funny thing in this league, as much as the Giants want to build some momentum I Just don’t see it happening on Sunday. Redskins roll.

BILLS -3.5 over Jets
This game was setting up as a classic “Win one for Rex” situations like the Jets had in Miami at the end of the 2013 season when the coach’s job was on the line. Unfortunately the Bills pulled the plug on the Ryan family before this weekend’s reunion game. For some reason I still think Buffalo plays well in this game, or at least better than the Jets play, which isn’t saying much.

PACKERS -3 over Lions
If this line is 3.5 at your local book, buy the half point down to 3. This game smells like a slug fest and could be decided on a last second play just like last year when these two rivals hooked up in the Motor City. I’ll take a healthy and streaking Aaron Rodgers over a nicked up Matt Stafford. Packers win the NFC North and the Lions are left out in the cold for a postseason spot once again.
