The Marist Red Foxes concluded camp this past Thursday with their second and final scrimmage of the preseason. The scrimmage was held at Tenney Stadium and the game featured many big plays on both sides of the ball. The defense would respond with two interceptions over the next couple of drives by cornerback Josh Taylor (sophomore) and cornerback Alex Began (freshman). The offense then would rack up a pair of touchdowns and a field goal its in last four drives of the first half of the game.

Senior quarterback Anthony Francis had one of the big plays of the game as he completed a 27-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wide receiver Matt Millea and then he would complete 30 consecutive passes. On the next drive, junior quarterback Mike White would complete a 60-yard pass to sophomore wide receiver Jordan Saunders. That then would set up a touchdown run by senior running back Leon Cummings to end the first half.

In the second half of the game the sophomore and freshman quarterbacks would get in on the action and had a good game. Freshman quarterback Jacob Hallenbeck threw a 40-yard touchdown to junior wide receiver Jordan Garofalo. The defense was strong in the second half of the game by keeping the offense out of the end zone in the final five drives. The defense would get a score for their unit as junior safety Chandler Foster made a impactful hit to knock a pass into the air, which would land into the hands of the sophomore linebacker Mike Sanchez.

The Marist Red Foxes concluded camp on a high note with production all the way from the seniors to the freshman players.
