Pro Wrestling All In event tickets sell out in less than an hour by Daniel Yanofsky May 14, 2018 It all started with a simple Twitter exchange between Dave Meltzer and Cody Rhodes. Now, independent wrestling is about to experience a true change. Tickets went on sale on Sunday, May 13 around 5 p.m. ET for the All In show on September 1 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The show sold out in less than a half hour. httpss://twitter.com/MattJackson13/status/995769067687563265 httpss://twitter.com/MartyScurll/status/995771382045839360 httpss://twitter.com/CodyRhodes/status/995827647589617664 The event, which is set to hold over 10,000 people, has been gaining momentum over the past few months. That is mostly due to the drawing power and investments of Cody and The Young Bucks. They put their heart soul and money into an event that they hope can benefit pro wrestling as a whole. Scalpers and secondary markets may have played a part in the sellout, due to high demand towards this event. With talent like Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, Rey Mysterio, Pentagon Jr, Tessa Blanchard Kazuchika Okada and Deonna Purrazzo set to compete, it was a no-brainer for the pro wrestling community. Another likely scenario for the sales going by fast could be the potential dream matches taking place. One was already announced. During the official All In press conference on Twitch and Facebook, it was announced that the NWA World Title will be on the line. Cody will challenge whoever is the champion at the time for a title his dad, the late Dusty Rhodes, fought for. Whether Nick Aldis will be champion by September is unsure. So far, this is a huge success for an event that had question marks surrounding it. With the sellout, it will officially be the first non-WWE event to hold 10,000+ people since the days of WCW. It is also the first event outside of WWE and WCW to hold that many people in a venue since 1993. While no brands are in charge of the show, Ring of Honor, the NWA and New Japan Pro Wrestling will be playing a big part in the festivities. It is a great accomplishment for independent wrestling everywhere. Since leaving WWE, Cody has worked hard to make promotions and stars outside of WWE thrive. With the Young Bucks by his side, and an event on September 1 that can change the sport for the better, they may just get their opportunity to prove it. 10,000+ people are All In, are you?
