BaseballClint Frazier returns; Paxton on the shelf by Chris Passarelli May 6, 2019 The New York Yankees received some mixed news over the weekend and on Monday morning; Clint Frazier is officially back after a short stint on the IL. Unfortunately, they lost James Paxton to the IL after he was removed from Friday’s 6-3 win with knee inflammation.Frazier returns to the team after hurting his ankle sliding back into second base two weeks ago. Joining Frazier is Miguel Andujar, who played in Saturday and Sunday’s games, collecting two hits in seven at-bats. Aaron Judge still has an unknown timetable for when he will return but Giancarlo Stanton should be returning soon and Aaron Hicks is currently playing Spring Training games in Tampa.Frazier is just a piece of the puzzle but slowly but surely some major bodies are coming back for the Yankees. Paxton is a big loss but with the way Domingo German is pitching, the Yankees should be able to weather this storm, just like they have all other storms this season.
