Charity Events Green Bay Packers launch Give BIG Green Bay; 45 local nonprofits will participate by Mecca Lennon January 16, 2021 The Green Bay Packers Foundation and the Greater Green bay Community Foundation will host the fourth annual community-wide give day from Feb 16 to Feb 17, 2021 at noon. The event will highlight 40 local nonprofit organizations that are working to make an impact on the community and give back. The Green Bay Packers Foundation and others will give $350,00o in funds. The event exceeded 43.4 million to support nonprofits. In February, more than $1.2 million was raised within 24 hours of over 2,800 donors. With many Americans being displaced and vulnerable during this pandemic, there is more of a need for help. Demands on nonprofits has increased tremendously. From noon Feb 16 to noon Feb 17, people can donate to support the 45 local nonprofits. This platform makes it easy for people to donate and contribute to the community. “There has never been a more important time for all of us to come together as a community for a common goal. We are proud to be a part of Give BIG Green Bay, which connects people directly with impactful nonprofit agencies who are dedicated to serving the residents of Brown County”. -Green Bay Packers President/CEO, Mark Murphy The list of non-profits include: Animal Welfare, Arts & Culture, Community Improvement, Education, Environment & Conservation, Health & Wellness, Human Services, Hunger & Homelessness, Military & Law Enforcement, Recreation & Sports, and Youth Development.
