Heavyweight Bout in the works for UFC 208 in Brooklyn

A heavyweight bout between Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis and Travis Browne is in the works for UFC 208 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on February 11th. The bout rumor was tweeted out Wednesday night by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

“The Black Beast” (17-4-1 NC) is coming off a 4th round TKO victory over Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany, NY on December 9th.

Browne (18-5-1) is 2-4 in his last six fights, most recently coming up short on an unanimous decision loss to former UFC Heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC 203 in September.

The UFC has yet to make the official announcement for the bout.
