MMA Here is the official fight card and match order for UFC 223 Who will be on the main card and who will open up the UFC’s return to Brooklyn? by Daniel Yanofsky March 13, 2018 We are finally on the road to Brooklyn. The UFC’s return to the Barclays Center on April 7 for UFC 223 is shaping to be an excellent event. While there is still time for some changes to take place, the company has announced the set lineup for the entire show. The UFC Fight Pass prelims will start at 6 p.m. ET. Immediately following that at 8 p.m. ET will be the prelims on Fox Sports 1. The main card will start at 10 p.m. ET and will reportedly start with Wantagh’s Al Iaquinta facing Paul Felder. Main Card (PPV – 10 p.m. ET) Tony Ferguson (c) (23-3) v. Khabib Nurmagomedov (25-0) – Lightweight Title bout Rose Namajunas (c) (7-3) v. Joanna Jedrzejczyk (14-1) – Women’s Strawweight Title bout Calvin Kattar (18-2) v. Renato Carniero (11-1-1) – Featherweight bout Michael Chiesa (13-3) v. Anthony Pettis (20-7) – Lightweight bout Al Ianquinta (13-3-1) v. Paul Felder (15-3) – Lightweight bout FS1 Preliminary Card (8 p.m. ET) Karolina Kowalkiewicz (11-2) v. Felice Herrig (14-6) – Women’s Strawweight bout Brandon Moreno (14-4) v. Ray Borg (11-3) – Flyweight bout Devin Clark (8-2) v. Mike Rodriguez (9-2) – Light Heavyweight bout Evan Dunham (18-6-1) v. Olivier Aubin Mercier (10-2) (Originally Dunham v. Mairbek Taisumov) – Lightweight bout UFC Fight Pass Prelims (6 p.m. ET) Joe Lauzon (27-14) v. Chris Gruetzemacher (13-3) – Lightweight bout Bec Rawlings (7-7) v. Ashlee Evans-Smith (5-3) – Women’s Flyweight bout Artem Lobov (14-4-1) v. Alex Caceres (13-11) – Featherweight bout Kyle Bochniak (8-2) v. Zabit Magomedsharipov (14-1) – Featherweight bout In an interesting turn of events, Karolina is on the prelims. It seems reasonable considering she lost two in a row, but Karolina rebounded in a UD victory over Jodie Esquibel. Her and Joanna have a rich history, and fighting together on the main card would have been something. Local talent is also all over the card, which is great for local fight fans and family. Tickets are still available for UFC 223 through Ticketmaster.com and the Barclays Center box office.
