Basketball Hofstra Men’s Basketball to start conference play by Chris Passarelli December 26, 2018 The Hofstra Pride men’s basketball team is rolling right now, and obviously the root of the success starts with their star Senior forward, Justin Wright-Foreman. Foreman has been piling up award after award and is on many watchlists after a hot start to the season. The Pride come into CAA play at 10-3, first in the conference, and are looking to make their first run at the NCAA Tournament since 2001. It’s been a long road for the team, but after an impressive 71-64 victory over cross-island rivals Stony Brook, they’re locked and loaded. Their first conference game will be on Friday at 7 PM against Delaware. It will be a stiff test for the Pride and a barometer for where they stand within the conference. The Pride faithful are hoping it’s going to be a special season on Hempstead Turnpike.
