Basketball Hofstra Women’s Brozoski earns CAA Player of the week by Chris Passarelli December 26, 2018 The Hofstra women’s basketball team has been struggling in non-conference play so far, but they get a fresh start when they start conference play next week. They finish their non-conference play on Saturday against Wilmington. The one player who has stood out, especially this week, has been Boogie Brozoski. Brozoski recently earned her second career CAA Player of the week after a great 20 point performance against Siena. She played the entire game, shot 57% from the field, scored three three-pointers, grabbed three rebounds and also dished three assists. Brozoski has scored 20 or more points three times so far this season, is in the top ten in scoring in the conference, and is averaging 15 PPG. If Brozoski can continue to play this way, the Pride women could find themselves back in the NCAA Tournament.
