MMA Jason Knight and Jordan Rinaldi will both hope to end their losing streaks at UFC 230 in NYC With both fighters on a losing streak, someone has to pick up the all-important win in New York City by Daniel Yanofsky September 7, 2018 While it may not sound sexy at first, Jason Knight v. Jordan Rinaldi is entertaining in many ways. At UFC 230 inside Madison Square Garden, these two will look to get back into the all-important win column as they face off against one another. Newsday was the first to report the fight. New York’s Jordan Rinaldi (13-6) is coming off of a TKO loss to Gregor Gillespie at UFC on Fox 27. After entering the UFC on a five-fight win streak, Rinaldi has gone 1-2 in his UFC career. A win here could prove the UFC made the right choice by signing him. His opponent on the other hand needs this fight in order to stay relevant. Jason Knight (20-5) has lost three in a row, his last fight a split decision loss to Makwan Amirkhani at UFC Fight Night 130. He is 4-4 in the UFC, and is looking for a dominant run reminiscent of his four-fight win streak against the likes of Dan Hooker and Alex Caceres. With nothing but momentum on the line, expect the two featherweights to go all out. By the end of the night, one of these two will have to buy the other one a steak dinner.
