Most of Las Vegas Raiders’ defense placed on reserve/COVID-19 list

Las Vegas Raiders defensive players were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list as high-risk close contacts on Wednesday following a Clelin Ferrell positive COVID-19 test result.

The list includes safety Jonathan Abram, defensive tackle Maliek Collins, DT Johnathan Hankins, DT Kendal Vickers, DB Isaiah Johnson and DE Arden Key.

The players will be able to play on Sunday against the Kansas City chiefs if they continue to test negative for COVID-19. This is a disadvantage to the team as they will not be able to practice prior to the game.

The league will operate under intensive protocol for the remainder of the season. The team has faced more than $1M dollars in fines for various COVID-19 violations.
