MMA Natan Schulte to now face Jason High in the main event of PFL 5 inside NYCB Live’s Nassau Coliseum The PFL’s second event at the Nassau Coliseum had to have a small adjustment to the main event by Daniel Yanofsky July 31, 2018 If we have learned anything by watching MMA, it is that not everything is set in stone. A few days before the Professional Fighters League returns to NYCB Live’s Nassau Coliseum, they had to fix up a new main event. For unknown reasons, Brian Foster (28-10) has been removed from his main event fight against Natan Schulte, according to MMA-Today. Instead, Schulte (12-3) will face Jason High. This lightweight bout is important for both men. For High (21-7), it is a chance for the former UFC fighter and IBJJF World Champion to sneak into the playoff rounds of the PFL. For Schulte, he just needs one win to place at the top of the lightweight PFL standings. His last fight was a unanimous decision win over Long Island’s Chris Wade, who will be competing on the prelims against Yuki Kawana. PFL 5 takes place on August 2 and can be viewed on NBCN and Facebook Watch. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.com, the Nassau Coliseum box office or by calling (800)-854-2196.
