Feature New York Red Bulls and New York Soccer Club won US Club Soccer’s National Premier League Finals by Judythe Ann Michelle July 14, 2015 An update on what’s been happening around the nation with the New York Red Bulls ( U13 Boys ) , and New York Soccer Club ( U16 Boys ) – see below New York Red Bulls (U13 Boys) and New York Soccer Club (U16 Boys) won US Club Soccer’s National Premier Leagues Finals, held July 9-13 at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind. The five-day NPL Finals is the culminating event of a year-long, league-based competition among qualifiers from 19 regional leagues around the country. It featured more than 6,000 players from 150 teams representing 18 U.S. states. Founded in 2001, US Club Soccer boasts member teams from all 50 states, while sanctioning more than 400 tournaments annually. Through its player-centric mentality, USCS has produced numerous elite youth players who have matriculated to professional leagues and top NCAA Division I teams. A prominent member of U.S. Soccer Federation and sponsored by Nike, all of US Club Soccer’s programs – recreational, competitive and adult – are able to be united under one organizational umbrella, creating a “members for life” culture within each club.
