MMA The World Will Be Watching: UFC to host Times Square viewing party for Conor McGregor v. Khabib Nurmagomedov press conference by Daniel Yanofsky September 18, 2018 The UFC is doing everything they can to promote the Conor McGregor v. Khabib Nurmagomedov bout at UFC 229 as the best fight fans will ever see. Involving the fans any way they can will definitely enhance views. While fans won’t be able to attend the Conor McGregor v. Khabib Nurmagomedov press conference happening this Thursday in New York City, that doesn’t mean they can’t be close to the fighters. The UFC announced that the event will be streamed in Times Square. The area surrounding 45th and 46th Street, home of Broadway’s “Mega-Zilla”, will bring the event to the people. The “Mega-Zilla” is considered the world’s largest TV screen. What can we expect at an event like this? McGregor’s fans have been known to cause a raucous, and support for the champion Khabib should be well-represented at the event. What will happen when a mixed fanbase interacts while two fighters who dislike one another square off? Thursday’s event will take place inside Radio City Music Hall at 5 p.m. ET. UFC 229 takes place October 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Post Views: 1,062 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc.
