There’s a New Blue in Town, Rangers Heat Up At Right Time

With the playoffs beginning in a month and a half, the Rangers are in good shape to clinch a high seed and possibly get home-ice advantage throughout.

The New York Knicks season is going nowhere fast. Even Phil Jackson says the Knicks give him and the fans heartburn. Luckily, there are only about 25 games left in the season that will go down in infamy.

But while the Knicks struggle, the New York Ranger strive in excellence! The team is now in first place in the Metropolitan Division with their convincing 4-3 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes. They are ahead of instate rival, the New York Islanders, who they were behind most of the season.

The Rangers have been playing exceptional hockey, winning four in a row, and eight of their last nine. While they have been winning, their schedule does not get any easier. After hosting the NHL’s top team, the Nashville Predators Monday night, the Rangers will play the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks,  New York Islanders, Washington Capitals, and Buffalo Sabres in a two-week span – all games of which are on the road.

With the playoffs beginning in a month and a half, the Rangers are in good shape to clinch a high seed and possibly get home-ice advantage throughout. New York fans are hoping that the Rangers can return to the promise land that is a Stanley Cup, and they are hoping for a better ending than last season.
