Basketball Villanova Men’s Basketball: For the Win by Judythe Ann Michelle March 1, 2015 Congratulations to the Villanova Wildcats men’s basketball team who came back to beat Xavier this past Saturday. The Wildcats have had an impressive season and they head into March Madness with momentum that could carry them to the Final Four. According to Yahoo Sports reporter, Kyle Ringo, “Credit goes to Villanova returning to form on the defensive end in the second half and Arcidiacono making timely shots.” Villanova was down at the half, and it looked like they might be at risk of losing this one but they did come back strong in the second half, when they stepped up their defensive game. The Wildcats now have two more conference games against Creighton and St John’s. If they maintain the momentum and show up for these games, they are likely to have a top seed.
