According to the police, Spence was driving higher than the recommended speed limit while also not wearing a seatbelt. The car went over the center median and flipped five times. The Long Islander, with ties to Texas, just recently defeated Shawn Porter via split decision to unify the IBF and WBC Welterweight Titles. Prior to the accident, Spence’s Instagram showed him out with his friends somewhere in the Dallas area, which makes things even more tragic. At this time, it is unknown if the previous factors resulted in the crash. At this moment, however, that is not what matters. We here at Double G Sports wish Spence a nice and speedy recovery.
