Other Sports WWE working on an Owen Hart DVD by Staff Post May 8, 2015 It is being reported that, WWE are in the early stages of making, a feature length documentary on the life and career of Owen Hart. As all wrestling fans know by now, Owen Hart’s wife, Martha has not had the best relationship with WWE, since Owen’s death. In 2010, Martha filed a lawsuit against WWE for the use of Owen’s name and likeness, as well as personal photos of Hart’s family in the ‘Hart and Soul’ DVD. In April 2013 a settlement was made for an undisclosed amount. It is being said, that Martha Hart is giving her full support and consent to this documentary. There is no release date known yet for this project. As a huge Owen Hart fan, I must say that this is wonderful news. To go down memory lane with this documentary and see the amazing career of Owen is a gift and honor. He literally gave his life in the ring, to entertain the fans, and he deserves to have his hard work in the squared circle highlighted. I can’t see into the future, but I’m guessing that a Hall of Fame induction is right around the corner!
