2 Minutes and 27 Seconds Later Hasbrouck Heights Native improves to 13-0

While Saturday night’s fights highlight Vasyl Lomachenko and Roman Martinez, New Jersey native, Julian “Hammer Hands” Rodriguez fought in the Featherweight championship against the Dominican Republic’s Kelvin Dotel.

And “Hammer Hands,” brought Jersey to the Garden. As soon as his name was announced the crowd went wild for the undefeated 21-year-old—who put on some show.

Rodriguez came out with a bang and defeated his opponent in a little over two minutes by a technical knock out.

The hometown favorite said after the fight that he studied his opponent while in training camp and was able to get a good idea on what exactly he was about.
