Weekend Trends: NASCAR, NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL

#NASCAR

Jimmie Johnson won at Dover this weekend.  It’s his tenth win at Monster Mile.  Apparently this win did not come easy, and there a lot of complications that took place, but in the end it was Johnson finishing first.  Reading about all that took place with this particular race, is just one more reason to remember that when I head to Dover to see a race, I’m printing that ‘cheat sheet’ located at the ‘First Timers’ tab on their site. #NHL

The Rangers lost, and the Blackhawks won, so the Tampa Bay Lightning will be facing the Chicago Blackhawks in the quest for ‘The Cup!’ [ www.nhl.com ]

#NBA

Cavs take on the Warriors in the upcoming NBA finals.  Everybody’s talking about whether LeBron will win or lose, and how it will impact his legacy if he wins.  [ www.nba.com ] This NBA Playoffs will be LeBron James fifth straight Finals.  Does he have what it takes to lead the Cavs to victory?  Time will tell, and of course, not if Stephen Curry has anything to say about it. #MLB

Josh Hamilton was trending, as a result of getting his eighth career walk-off hit on Sunday.  It was a walk-off double in the night, and that got the crowd going.  [ www.mlb.com  ]

#NFL

Brady’s appeal is scheduled for late June.  Does anyone care?  Yep, everyone is still talking about it.  They are even talking about how they don’t care.  If they didn’t care, they wouldn’t be talking about it, right. [ www.nfl.com ]
