Mandatory Credit: Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports Brooklyn’s Heather ‘The Heat’ Hardy has her next opponent in Bellator. Hardy (20-0 Boxing, 1-0 MMA) will take on Kristina Williams at Bellator 185 on Oct 20 at Mohegan Sun. Double G Sports previously announced the fight when her opponent was unknown. The Post was the first to announce Williams’ addition Friday. The undefeated women’s boxing champion made her Bellator debut at Bellator 180 in June. After earning a TKO victory over Alice Yauger, Hardy said she ‘fell inlove’ with the sport. If fight fans weren’t already, it’s hard not to feel the same about Hardy following her post-fight interviews. “I can’t wait for it,” Hardy told The Post in an interview. “I made huge improvements in my boxing after every fight and I’m seeing the same thing in MMA. I’m looking forward to getting back in there again.” Willams (1-0 MMA) will be making her promotional debut with Bellator. Her professional debut was just five months ago, where she earned an unanimous decision victory. Bellator 185 also features the promotional debut of former UFC middleweight Gegard Mousasi. Mousasi will face Alexander Shlemenko in the main event.
