Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz set for Nov 4 at Barclays

The heavyweight match up is set for Nov 4 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

WBC World Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is set to face undefeated heavyweight Luis Ortiz next.

Wilder (38-0-0, 37 KOs) and Ortiz (27-0, 23 KOs) will meet at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, Nov 4. The card will be televised on Showtime boxing.

A press conference is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in NYC to announce the championship bout. Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza, promoter Lou DiBella, along with Wilder and Ortiz, will be attending, as per a press release.

Other bouts on Wilder vs. Ortiz

Joining the heavyweight headliner includes Brooklyn’s own Daniel Jacobs and Sergey Lipinets in their own bouts, according to Boxingscene.com. While Jacob’s bout and opponent are TBD, Lipinets is the mandatory challenger for the 140-pound vacant IBF super-lightweight belt.
