Basketball The Knicks return to win column after 18 defeats in a row by Stefano Bentivogli February 15, 2019 The string of negative results by the New York Knicks has finally come to an end. The Knicks returned to winning after 18 consecutive defeats, topping the Atlanta Hawks, 106-91 Thursday night. The team immediately started strong on Thursday, scoring a partial of 14-0 thanks to which, they managed to secure 15 lengths of advantage over the opponents after the first 12 minutes of the game. The Hawks, however, took advantage of the second quarter to return to the game, thanks to a run from 38 to 26 thus closing the first half of the race at a disadvantage 51-54, but then fall definitively in the second half. These are the words of a very pleased David Fizdale, who in the post game was able to praise the performance of his players, led by 19 points of the new arrival Dennis Smith Jr. and 14 of the couple Allen / Jenkins: “The character of this team is crazy. After 18 defeats in a row it would have been much easier for us to abandon this game, but the guys wanted this victory desperately and went to conquer it. “ Post Views: 848 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Stefano Bentivogli Latest posts by Stefano Bentivogli (see all) The New York Knicks and the temptation of Chris Paul - March 21, 2020 NYCFC, Deila: “Our supporters can make the difference” - March 10, 2020 New York City FC, Ronny Deila wants to start the new season of MLS well - February 29, 2020 New York City FC preparing differently under new head coach Ronny Deila - February 5, 2020 Related TopicsAtlanta HawksDavid FizdaleKnicksNBANew York Knicks Click to comment You must be logged in to post a comment Login Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
