Other Sports Thunder Belt Five Home Runs; Still Lose! by Staff Post June 7, 2011 The Thunder wasted homeruns by; Deangelo Mack, Corban Joseph, Yadil Mujica and a two homer effort from Bradley Suttle but lost on a walk-off single by Derrick Mitchell of the Reading Phillies in the bottom of the 12th inning. The Thunder were losing early once again but as usual began nipping away at the Reading lead. Down 3-0 in the second inning, Deangelo Mack hit a two run homer to cut the deficit to 3-2. Then in the third inning losing 4-2 CorbanJoesph and Bradley Suttle smacked a solo blast each to tie the score at four. In the fifth inning with Reading ahead 5-4, Trenton scored three times in the top of the sixth inning on the power of a Yadil Mujica and Bradley Suttle homers while throwing in a Pirela run from second base on a Reading error giving the Thunder the 7-5 lead. Thunder pitcher could not hold a 7-6 lead in the ninth inning and Trenton’s sixth pitcher of the game Cory Arbiso gave up the walk-off hit in the twelth inning getting the loss for his efforts.
