A Day at the Races On Deck at Monmouth Park

For those who are looking to enjoy a day at the races, the 2015 Monmouth Park racing season will be underway this coming weekend. It runs from May 9 through September 27th.  Gates open at 11:30 a.m. and you’ll be able to place your bets with the first post scheduled for 12:50 pm ET.

This is the 70th season for the beautiful track located in Oceanport, NJ.  For a list of the events that are scheduled you can head over to www.monmouthpark.com  Some of the highlights include a ’50-cent Pick 5  on the first and last five races on the program with a 15% takeout.  The park has upgraded it’s televisions sets, and grandstands have gotten a facelift.

If you’ve not been to the races in awhile, perhaps you might want to make it a point to get to Monmouth Park this summer.  By the looks of things unfolding in Oceanport, it looks like it promises to be a great time.
