Rutgers and Boston College Agree to Home-and-Home Series

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Jan. 10, 2017) – Rutgers and Boston College have agreed to a home-and-home football series in 2019 and 2022, both schools announced Tuesday. These two games will be part of a series in 2026 and 2027 that was previously agreed upon.

The Scarlet Knights will host the Eagles in the first game of the series on Sept. 21, 2019 at High Point Solutions Stadium. Boston College will host Rutgers on Sept. 3, 2022 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

The remaining two games will be played on Sept. 12, 2026 at Alumni Stadium and Sept. 11, 2027 in Piscataway, N.J.

Rutgers and Boston College have faced off 26 times dating back to 1919. The two teams last met in 2004 as members of the Big East Conference with the Eagles holding a 19-6-1 edge in the all-time series.
