Brooklyn Nets: Kyrie Irving’s signature has arrived

The long-awaited official announcement has arrived: free agent guard Kyrie Irving has joined the Brooklyn Nets.

The announcement was released on the official website of the Nets with the first statements released by the General Manager Sean Marks: “Irving is one of the best guards in the NBA and has won a lot in his career. We are very happy to have Irving with us, he will be an exceptional addition to our team.”

Kenny Atkinson also talked about Irving’s arrival: “We are all excited to have a player of the caliber of Irving on our team. He is a very talented player, we are happy to have him with us.”

Irving joins the Nets after spending the last two seasons (2017-19) with the Boston Celtics and the six previous seasons (2011-17) with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
