College FDU Falls to No. 21 Stevenson, 54-15 by Staff Post September 26, 2016 The Devils of FDU-Florham fell to the Stevenson Mustangs, the 21st ranked team in the country according to the D3football.com Top 25 poll, 54-15 Saturday in Maryland. Despite jumping out to an 8-7 first quarter lead, and trailing 28-15 at the half, FDU was outscored 26-0 in the second half. Stevenson (4-0, 3-0 MAC) was led by junior QB Dan Williams, who set school records by throwing for 338 yards and six touchdowns. The Mustangs currently sit atop the MAC standings. The Devils were led offensively by sophomore QB Jagger Green, making his second start of the season, who completed 18 of 37 passes for 161 yards. Green added a rushing touchdown as well. The team amassed a season-high 182 yards on the ground, with freshman RB Steve Iannone leading the way with 63 yards on six carries. Sophomore WR Mike Panzarino caught five balls for 55 yards, while freshman TE John Pellegrini had six catches totaling 42 yards. Defensively, the Devils were led by sophomore LB Isaiah Turner (six total tackles) as well as senior DB Troy Scales (five total tackles). Freshman DB Donovan Lewis had one interception. The Devils (0-3, 0-2 MAC) return to action this Saturday, October 1, when they travel to Wilkes University (1-3, 1-2 MAC).
