One of the big reasons for the turnaround has been Brian Sylvestre who has settled down the goalie situation and picked up another clean sheet tonight notching four saves.

The Union fired 17 shots including 7 on target and got a goal from Andrew Wenger and a brace from Vincent Nogueira to wipe out the Portland Timbers.

After Wenger opened the Union’s account in the 69th minute, 2 minutes later, they doubled their advantage.
