Some of the highlights of the evening include ‘Nitro Girl’ Jolene Van Vugt, who is one of the most amazing female athletes in action sports. Josh Sheehan was also on hand, and the crowd got to see his history making Triple Back Flip on the Big Screen. Aaron ‘Wheelz’ Fotheringham, soared down the high ramp in his wheelchair, and immediately became a favorite of the fans on hand. Another crowd favorite, was Brandon Schmidt, who was repping in his NJ Devils jersey. Fans of all ages cheered the athletes who are from all over the world, and performed death defying acts on motorcycles, scooters, and skateboards. After having the opportunity to speak with Travis last week, and hear more about how Nitro Circus started in a garage in Utah over a decade ago, and evolved into a magnificent road show, allowing so many athletes the opportunity to tour the world, doing what they love, it’s impossible not to root for his continued success. Travis performed along side with up and coming superstars, and the entire family cheers and roots for one another. You just cannot help but be in awe at the talent of those involved with this show. The show featured many fearless athletes who put on an amazing show complete with show stopping stunts, dynamic music, and incredible theatrical effects using pyrotechnics. The show packed up and headed to Pittsburgh, PA for a Sunday show, and are due to be in St Louis, Missouri to perform at Scottrade Center on Tuesday. Be sure to head to the site www.nitrocircus.com and follow their family, @NitroCircus on Twitter, to see when the circus comes to town in your neighborhood. You won’t want to miss it!
