Dolce: Rousey More Likely to Face Jedrzejczyk than Cyborg

Did anyone think this was even a thought?

Mike Dolce, nutritionist to many high-level MMA fighters including former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, gave his thoughts on any possible super-fights involving the former 135-pound title holder during an interview with MMAJunkie.com recently.

To what many probably didn’t think of, he suggested a catch-weight at 125-pounds, saying it was more realistic than 140-pounds. Jedrzejczyk has said numerous times she wants to be a two-division champion in both the 115- and 125- weight classes. The UFC however has yet to form the women’s flyweight division officially.

“As Ronda’s weight-management coach, I see Ronda being a 125-pound athlete, if that weight class existed,” Dolce told MMAJunkie.com. “Based on her current body weight, and how compliant she’s been to her lifestyle, Ronda can make 125 pounds. That might be where the most exciting matchups would actually take place. Can you imagine Ronda versus (UFC women’s strawweight champion) Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who’s always talked about moving up to 125?”

Is this simply a diversion to form another super-fight that doesn’t involve Rousey against Cris ‘Cyborg’, whom has made her feelings on the match up publicly known recently, or is this an actual possibility?

Which would you rather see? Rousey vs. Jedrzejczyk at 125 pounds or Rousey vs. Cyborg at 140 pounds?
