Projected Rutgers Football Starters After Spring Practice

With the Scarlet-White spring game and practice five weeks in the dust, there is a little more clarity to the starting line-ups for the offensive and defense. While this is not official and an updated version won’t be released until the summer by head coach Kyle Flood, Double G Sports took a stab at it and predicted the starters for summer camp.

RB: Paul James (RS-Senior)

FB: Sam Bergen (6th-Senior)

WR: Leonte Carroo (Senior)

WR: Andre Patton (RS-Junior)

TE: Nick Arcidiacono (Junior)

LT: Keith Lumpkin (RS-Senior)

LG: Dorian Miller (RS-Sophomore)

C: Derrick Nelson (RS-Junior)

RG: Chris Muller (RS-Junior)

RT: J.J. Denman (RS-Junior)

 

LDE: Djwany Mera (RS-Senior)

RDE: Kemoko Turay (RS-Sophomore)

DT: Darius Hamilton (Senior)

NT: Quanzell Lambert: (RS-Junior)

LOLB: Quentin Gause: (RS-Senior)

MLB: Isaiah Johnson: (Junior)

CB: Nadir Barnwell: (Junior) ?? If Barnwell is not eligible, its a possibility that junior safety Anthony Cioffi moves back to corner and could start. Another possibility would be either redshirt freshman Isaiah Wharton or freshman Blessuan Austin.
