College Ramapo Hall of Fame Announces 2019 Inductees Hall of Fame dinner and ceremony is set for April 27 at the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center. by Max Kalmes September 20, 2018 On September 19, Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ announced the 2019 induction class to the Hall of Fame. Corey Brown, Dr. Walter Brown, Andrea (Pastiglione) Buser, Clavon Byrd, Michelle Favre, Chuck McBreen and Rob Santaniello are among the list of seven inductees for the 2019 class. Corey Brown will be inducted into the Ramapo Athletic Hall of Fame for his four-year men’s basketball commitment and notable contributions he made on the court from 1997-2001. Brown graduated from Ramapo in 2001 with a degree in Finance. Dr. Walter Brown joins this year’s class after many years of service at Ramapo. He was a professor of history and international studies from 1973-2006. Brown continued to serve and teach at Ramapo until he suddenly passed away in March of 2018. Andrea (Pastiglione) Buser, a spotlighted softball star from 2002-2006, is credited for leading the Roadrunners to the NCAA College World Series in 2006. Buser graduated in 2006 with a degree in communications with a concentration in graphic design. Clavon Byrd served as a member of Ramapo’s football team from 1977-1980 as a standout running and defensive back. Byrd is recognized for being part of the 1978 team that was ranked #1 among National Club Football Teams by the NCFA. Michelle Farve, a national champion for the Ramapo track and field team, will be part of the 2019 class for her eminent career from 2009-2013 where she excelled in the pole vault. Farve graduated in 2013 with a degree in Biology. Chuck McBreen is recognized in the 2019 class for his remarkable head coaching career for the College’s men’s basketball team. His career started in 1998 where he went on to lead the ranked team to a historic season in 2017-2018 where they made an appearance in the NCAA Final Four. Rob Santaniello stands as Ramapo’s top soccer players in the College’s history. As a player from from 2009-2012, he claimed the record for most goals in a season along with most career goals. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in business administration and finance. The dinner and ceremony is set for April 27 at the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center.
