Soccer New York City FC looks ahead with confidence by Stefano Bentivogli April 29, 2019 Positive results for New York City FC continue. After winning the first game against DC United, Domenec Torrent’s team won again against Chicago Fire and then drew against Orlando City, both games being played at the Yankees Stadium. New York City FC is having a good time. After starting the season in poor fashion, the Blues finally seem to have overcome the greatest fears and problems that were mostly psychological level. The Blues have gained seven points in the last three games. These results have allowed the team to reach the playoff picture. Now New York City FC can look forward with more confidence. The victories help the team with their confidence going into future matches. The team’s feelings are good, the players have a positive thinking and this helps to play with less pressures and a more free mindset. The results are there for all to see. New York now can believe to get the playoffs and maybe more. The top of the ranking is at 5 points and the Blues have one less game to play than DC United and Montreal Impact, who currently lead the pack. Who would have bet on a similar recovery by New York City FC? Only a few, but New York City FC is proving to be in recovery and fighting for something important.
