Soccer Keaton Parks: “I want to play and show my potential” by Stefano Bentivogli June 21, 2019 Keaton Parks has carved out his space with New York City FC in the Open Cup. After spending most of the time on the bench in this first part of the season, Dome Torrent trusted in Parks. Parks showed all his growth, in particular in the more solid defense phase. After the good game played against North Carolina FC, Parks played again 90 minutes, this time as part of a stronger DC United team, actively participating in Mitrita’s goal. Keaton Parks is growing and he has expressed with all his words his desire to play more regularly: “I want to play and these last two games were my chance and I showed it. So I will continue to do my job and see where it takes me. I’m just here to give my best, prepare myself every day, help the team win, help the team win trophies, hopefully. And then I’ll be ready to go back to Portugal, or if I stay here, I’ll be ready for next season”.
